"Power Glove" Brings Hope to Stroke Victims

Researchers have developed a "Biomedical Sensor Glove" which will help doctors supervise a stroke patient’s physical therapy performed at home. Victims of stroke need intensive physical therapy to recover. To relieve some of the problems of physical therapy, researchers have come out with a glove that can monitor the movement of the patient’s hand and transmit that information to the doctor in his office.

The glove enables the doctor to have a watch over the recovery of the victim. Exercising at home with a user-friendly interface also helps the patient keep up the exercise routine.
