 Plight of Mexican Migrants

A recent survey has pointed out the dismal mental state of many Mexican migrants who are often victims of depression and anxiety.

The survey which compared data from 2,519 non-migrant Mexicans and 554 recent Mexican migrants revealed that the latter carried a huge risk of mental disorders.

The risk of depression, anxiety and other mental health problems was more pronounced in people ages 18 to 35.
