A blue BMW may look cool and respectable but a new study has found that men who drove blue BMWs were more aggressive than drivers in any other cars.
The study for VoucherCodesPro found that the worst offenders are men aged between 35 and 50, and 5.45pm on a Friday is the peak time for road rage.
Drivers find Monday mornings and Friday evenings the most stressful times to be on the road, the Daily Star reports.
Drivers said they had experienced most road rage from Land Rovers and Audis owners after BMWs.
Male drivers admit they lose their temper while driving on average seven times a month, as compared to women who lose it on three occasions.
According to the report, drivers who admit to road rage said shouting and swearing is the most common form, followed by driving erratically and obscene hand gestures.
