Owen Wilson Speaks Out After Suicide Attempt

by Medindia Content Team on Oct 27 2007 7:09 PM

Actor Owen Wilson has given his first interview after his suicide attempt to friend Wes Anderson, who directed his latest film "The Darjeeling Limited".

The interview will be posted online as part of MySpace, people.com reports.

Wilson has remained silent since the night of his attempted suicide and had said in a statement released then: "I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time."

It is still unknown if Wilson will speak on his troubles in the interview. Last month, Anderson said Wilson was doing well. "When he's ready he's going to speak for himself much better than anyone else could. He has a very good way with words."

Wilson and Anderson have worked on numerous projects like "Bottle Rocket", "The Royal Tenenbaums" and "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zizzou".
