According to VNUNet.com, it was found that via online auction home-made ecstasy kit has been purchased. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration said that eBay sold various chemicals. The purchase was done by a drug manufacturer. A series of purchases were done varying from laboratory and security equipment to precursor chemicals.
Suspected eBay users were monitored from July 2005 to April 2006. Local Investigators were also involved and they found out by sending two trial packages to see who picked them up. It was astonishing that on both times the packages were signed by the members of the same family. They say that it is for an uncle from Costa Rica. Further investigation is going on in this matter regarding the e Bay suspect.
