The drug formulation packs include those that are used to treat bacterial infections, cancer, arthritis, and asthma. "National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has fixed/revised ceiling prices of 54 scheduled formulations of Schedule-I under Drugs (Price Control) Amendment Order, 2016 and retail price of two formulations under DPCO, 2013," the regulator said in a statement.
In the month of April, NPPA had fixed prices of 70 drug formulation packs, including those used for the treatment of bacterial infections, tuberculosis and cancer.
