Wynford Dore a British millionaire currently living in Australia claims to have discovered a novel way of curing children suffering from the worst form of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). This novel method, space-age technology is usually used for testing astronauts returning from space. But it can also be used by the doctors to cure ADHD patients by rebalancing their brains.
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a syndrome in which children have problems with the cerebellum. It is the part of the brain that controls the organization and direction of thought and behavior. In this novel treatment they plan to stimulate the dormant parts of the cerebellum, using a series of balance and eye exercises. Hence these techniques would expand the cerebellum and encourage it to work better without needing to use chemical treatment.Mr. Dore basically sells fire-resistant paint and said in a press conference that the new finding was by accident which would dramatically change one’s life. Mr. Dore’s keen interest is due to his personal experience. His daughter tried to commit suicide because of her chronic learning difficulties.
The new treatment as of now costs about £1,700 and takes up to 15 months to complete.
Statistics reveal the sad truth that every 20 children suffer from some form of attention disorder and this problem is on the rise over the past 50 years. Boys are three times more likely to suffer from the condition.
The common treatment for this group of disorder is with the help of the drugs known as psychostimulants which is effective by results in serious side effects.
