Nicole Richie has finally confirmed rumours that she is pregnant. The reality TV star had been surrounded by pregnancy rumours for the past few months after she was spotted with a baby bump.
And now, in an exclusive sit-down with Diane Sawyer, Richie admits that she is expecting a child with beau, Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden."Yes, I am. We are. I'm almost four months," TMZ quoted her, as telling Sawyer.
ABC network, which will air the interview on its show Good Morning America on August 2 and 3, also revealed that Richie "speaks candidly about why this particular constellation of young female stars -- Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears, among others -- have behaved badly so publicly."
She also opens up about her upcoming stint behind bars.
In the interview she tells Sawyer, "I have a responsibility and it's something that I did wrong, and if I could personally apologize to every single person that has lost a loved one from drunk driving I would. And unfortunately I can't, but this is my way of paying my dues and taking responsibility and being an adult."
Richie pleaded guilty DUI recently, and she has been sentenced to spend four days behind bars.
