New Tech Necklace may Help You Slip Out of a Bad Date

A new tech necklace has been introduced which could help one escape smoothly out of any awkward situation or a bad date. The 120 dollar accessory called 'Guardian Angel' has an unobtrusive switch that will make the cell phone ring, and if pressed for three seconds, will send out an SOS message to your emergency contact along with your location in case of some extreme circumstances, ABC News reported.

The brand developed the idea in conversation with the Association of Women for Action and Research (AWARE), an advocacy group for women based in Singapore.

AWARE executive director, Corinna Lim, stated in the press release that the accessory will help resolve harassment situations and able women to seek help more easily in case of emergency.
