New Jersey Waitress Applauded by Cancer Sufferer After Covering for Their Meals

At a restaurant in New Jersey, a waitress was praised by a cancer sufferer and his wife after she gave them a touching note and used her tip to cover their meals. The couple was expecting a salad and a slice of pizza at the Brother's Pizza in New Jersey. But they were surprised when the 17-year-old waitress covered their meal using her tips and left them a note which said 'for putting up the biggest fight (cancer) this one is on me,' the Daily Mail reported.

The waitress has been close to the couple for years and that was how she knew that Rick was suffering with cancer. Deniela Bossi, the waitress, said she did it because the couple's family had always been there for her little sister, and she didn't think it was a big deal.
