New Herbal Pill Claims to Boost Libido in Women
Danish pharmaceutical firm Pharma Nord has launched a new herbal pill in the UK which they claim will boost the libido of women and increase sexual arousal.
Dubbed the female Viagra, the pill is currently being marketed under the brand name Lady Prelox and is made up of a component derived from French pine bark called pycnogenol.

A month’s supply of the pill, which involves taking it twice a day, is priced at $65.

Dr Graham Jackson, chairman of the Sexual Advice Association, backed the availability of the pill but warned that if it did not increase the libido in a short amount of time, then the pill will not work no matter how many you take. “We know that in men sexual dysfunction is a vascular problem. We don't have any evidence of this in women yet, but there may turn out to be a link. These aren't aphrodisiacs. If you're not turned on, no amount of tablets will help”, Dr Jackson said.
