A partnership between private firm QuantuMDx and scientists from Newcastle University and Sheffield University has led to the development of a new device which can diagnose cancer in as little as 20 minutes.
The device called as the first ever tumor profiler in the world, will be a big boon to patients as it will help doctors, nurses and pharmacists to quickly identify all known types of cancer. The device is capable of suggesting the best drug for treatment.

According to Company officials, the device has the potential to give a new lease of life to nearly 12 million newly diagnosed cancer sufferers around the world.
