A new eatery located in the prime business district of Delhi is offering food lovers a chance to experience world-class cuisine while simultaneously preparing to expand as the 2010 Commonwealth Games fast approaches.
"The difference between international and world cuisine is infinitesimal but essential to the dining experience," said Sudhir Goria, director of the Knight restro-bar that opened on Friday.Knight is an extension of the multi-cuisine Castle 9 restaurant and lounge located in the same premises.
"We are planning to open a hotel, an Indian restaurant, a banquet hall and a 24x7 coffee shop by 2010, targeting the Commonwealth Games," Goria said.
The Knight menu features exotic palette-tickling offerings like Louisiana seafood chowder, Hungarian goulash, roast duck with orange sauce, and grilled Australian chops, all this interspersed with a fine selection of wines.
Vegetarians have not been forgotten and there is plenty on offer for them too.
