A mother and daughter have delivered healthy baby boys on the same day, just 6-hours apart at at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village.

35-year oldÂ Jessica Rotter and her 17-year old daughter Briana Guerrero delivered healthy baby boys on the same day, just 6-hours apart at at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village.

The mother was supporting her teenage daughter as she was preparing to give birth, but she had to be moved to an adjoining room when her own labor pains started. Rotter gave birth to the baby about 6-hours earlier than Guerrero.

Dr. Alex Lipowich, who delivered both babies, said, "In 20 years of practicing, I've seen a lot. I've certainly had mothers and daughters pregnant at the same time or in the same year. But I have never delivered a mother and daughter combination on the same day, and I can't believe that's very common."
