Mohali to Get a New Dental Implant Centre

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal has announced that a dental Implant Centre will be established under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) scheme in Mohali soon.

Mr Badal made this announcement at the 16th National Conference of Indian Society of Oral Implantlogy and Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the Dental Council of India at NIPER in Sector 67.

Patients will be able to avail implants at the Punjab Dental Implant Centre in Mohali at reasonable rates between Rs 9,000 and 10,000 as compared with 25,000-30,000 in private clinics.

Convener of the conference Dr Randeep Singh Mann also spoke on the occasion and said, “The introduction of latest dental gadgets has made the dental treatment more refined, pain-free and less time consuming.”

Mr Badal also said his government would look to introduce implant centers in government hospitals.
