While fans of supermodel Kate Moss have wondered just what it is that keeps her going back to Pete Doherty, Pogues frontman Shane MacGowan believes that he has the answer - 'mind-blowing sex'.
The 49-year old rocker revealed that a reason why the couple's affair lasted for so long was because not only were they 'totally nuts' about each other, but because their sex life was also incredible.
"They were perfect for each other. Totally nuts about each other. They were one of those couples that would argue loads but when they got back together they would have mind-blowing sex," the Mirror quoted him, as saying.
MacGowan, who is rumoured to have offered Doherty a place to stay after the latter completes his stint in rehab, also said that the couple were sure to miss their 'great chemistry'.
"They had this great chemistry and that's something they'll miss," he said.
Doherty is currently at the Clouds rehab clinic in Wiltshire, where he has spent the past month receiving treatment for drug addiction.
