Men Find Women Most Attractive When They are Fertile

A new study published in the journal Hormones and Behavior revealed that men often find women to be attractive when they are most fertile.

Researchers led by David Puts from the Pennsylvania State University conducted a study in which 500 men and 500 women were shown over 200 images of women who were photographed at two different points in their fertility cycle.

The researchers found that both men and women rated images higher when it featured women when they were most fertile. “We learned beyond a reasonable doubt that women's faces and voices change over the menstrual cycle, and that both men and women perceive this as changes in attractiveness”, Puts said.
