Meet Two-Year-Old Indonesian Toddler Addicted to Cigarettes!

Ardi Rizal, an Indonesian boy, is hooked on cigarettes at the tender age of two.

His dad gave him his first smoke when he was just 18 month old.

However, Ardi, who lives in the fishing village of Musi Banyuasin, in Indonesia's South Sumatra, may just be the tip of the iceberg.

According to data from the Central Statistics Agency, 25 per cent of Indonesian children aged 3 to 15 have tried cigarettes, with 3.2 per cent of these active smokers.

But Ardi's father, Mohammad Rizal, is unfazed by his son's smoking habit.

"I'm not worried about his health, he looks healthy. He cries and throws tantrums when we don't let him smoke. He's addicted," the Telegraph quoted him, as saying.

Seto Mulyadi, chairman of Indonesia's child protection commission, says parents who smoke and aggressive advertising are responsible for the rise in the number of child smokers.
