
Scientists studied 200 low performing
middle school students and found that students who did meditation twice a day showed
significant academic improvement in all areas.
The meditating group showed 41%
increase in at least one level in math compared to only 15% of the
non-meditating group.

Teachers who were part of the survey said meditation also resulted in calmer, happier and less hyper students.
