"Hard Candy" star seems to be facing hard times now that Madonna's up-coming world tour, "Sticky + Sweet", is facing an uncertain future. The tour, which is only two weeks away, has been thrown into jeopardy after the pop diva suffered an ankle injury.

The 'Material Girl' is currently in New York rehearsing for her world tour, which will begin in Cardiff Wales on 23 August 2008, reports Contactmusic.

Last weekend, the stunner was photographed nursing a heavily bandaged foot - prompting fears that the 49-year-old may not be fully fit for the first date of the tour.

The tour will cover Europe and North America and will wrap up in Mexico City on 30 November (08).
