A new survey carried out by a travel website has seen London top the list of the most expensive city destinations.
The survey conducted by TripAdvisor by comparing prices in 48 leading tourist destinations, found that an evening out in the city and overnight stay in a four-star hotel would cost an average 523 dollars, CNN reported.

Medical tourism can be broadly defined as provision of ''cost effective'' private medical care in collaboration with the tourism industry for patients needing surgical and other forms of specialized treatment.

The site's annual TripIndex Cities has revealed that seven of the world's 10 most expensive destinations are in Europe, while Asia fields the majority of the list's most affordable cities for a holiday.
The list also warns travelers going to Paris against working up too much of thirst while pounding its boulevards, as the city is identified as the priciest place for pre-dinner cocktails and Stockholm was found to be the costliest place for an evening meal.
