20-year-old Kurt Filiga, who is close to death with acute myeloid leukemia has made a documentary of his life with the cancer.
With the help of Sir Peter Jackson's Park Road Post, Kurt was to make a film that highlighted his battle with the disease. Instead it looks like it is a diary of his final months on earth.Kurt was diagnosed in November last year and went into remission, only for the cancer to make a comeback in April.
"When I relapsed I started to get scared," Mr Filiga said. "Maybe they won't be able to get my leukaemia under control. They said I could have days, weeks or months, that I might not make it to the end of June."
There is laughter around the home, but there is sadness as well, knowing the happiness might not last.
