It is effective both as an every day moisturizer for all skin types and in easing skin problems such as eczema. It is also very effective when used on difficult areas like elbows, knees and ankles as it reduces dryness."

Santhanam further added, "As a moisturizer on various skin types, cocoa butter works on all skin types but is particularly effective for normal to dry and very dry skin. Cocoa butter as a daily moisturizer helps to even skin texture and leave skin feeling smooth. It is rich in anti-oxidants, omega 3 and omega 6.
