Leading Healthcare Network Oxxy Offers Free Eye Screenings For Residents Of Bengaluru
Under the "Swastha Bharat" (Healthy India) platform, leading healthcare network Oxxy has begun offering free eye test in the Karnataka capital.
"Our free eye screening, dedicated to former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, can be availed at home or at our centre in the city, with free pick up and drop facility," Oxxy founder Pankaj Gupta said in a statement.

The Delhi-based healthcare provider has so far screened 12 million people in 200 cities across the country through free camps

"Anyone requiring eye checkup can dial our number (0-99990-00102) anytime to avail the facility free of cost," Gupta said.

As Kalam, who died on July 27 at Shillong in Meghalaya, favored eye donation, the network's initiative was intended to make healthcare affordable for all.

With one-lakh medical centers as part of its network across the country, Oxxy has tie-up with taxi aggregator Uber to provide free health check-up to its riders.
