Kyoto Topples Bangkok to Become the ‘World’s Best City’

A survey carried out by Travel + Leisure Magazine has declared Kyoto as the 'World's Best City', replacing Thai capital Bangkok which reportedly lost its place in this year's top 10 due to its political troubles, the CNN reported.

Despite repeat appearances in the number one spot, Thailand's capital was voted out by the readers as the city was placed under curfew earlier this year during a military coup.
