Kirsten Dunst Ward Off Her Flying Phobia by Using Headphones

by VR Sreeraman on Aug 16 2007 3:58 PM

Actress Kirsten Dunst has revealed that she employs a very effective technique to control her fear of flying - putting on Bose headphones.

The 'Spiderman' actress admitted that she's scared of aeroplanes, but tries to curb her phobia by suppressing the noise through headphones.

"I always get scared on planes. Whenever I fly I pack those Bose headphones that dull the noise of the plane," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

"I always wear them on take-off and landing," she added.

Meanwhile Dunst is reportedly set to direct short films with Kate Hudson and Rita Wilson.

The three will shoot movies for Glamour Reel Moments, based on real life stories submitted to the American magazine Glamour.

Dunst, Hudson and Wilson have each been given around 500,000 dollars to shoot their movies for the magazine's third annual 'Reel Moments'.
