"I mean I'm an actress and it's a tool, after all," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
"It's pretty much all I've got. I've got whatever's in my head, my face and my voice and then there's my body, and that's it. And I do trade on that, of course I do," she added.
Meanwhile the British actress has shunned reports that her image in new ads for fashion house Chanel has been digitally enhanced.
The 'Pride and Prejudice' star insists that all the curves in the picture are 100 percent her own.
"I haven't had curves added to my body for a perfume, I don't think - unless you've seen something I haven't," she said.
