Kate Middleton, who is all set to marry Prince William, may not want to be reminded of her 13th year and a particular experience at school which forced her parents to shift her to another boarding school in the middle of the academic year. Celebrity biographer Sean Smith had the opportunity of interviewing some of Kate Middleton’s classmates while writing the biography of the would-be bride, to be published soon after the royal wedding.
According to the account of classmates, a group of girls made life miserable for Kate Middleton at the reputed Downe House college. There were times when Kate’s bed would be covered with feces and the poor girl had cried her heart out.
"She was picked on because she was perfect - well turned out and a lovely person. She was not the type of person to stick up for herself. They saw something they could pick on - and gangs of girls can be very nasty," one of the girls said during the interview.
She was later moved to the famous Marlborough College in Wiltshire.
