Julianne Moore reckons that quitting smoking not only improved her health but also gave her an emotional awakening. The 'Hours' star kicked the butt 15 years ago and recalls that the impact it had on her life.
"I began to see most clearly... I was 31 or 32, and I quit smoking. I was so emotional," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.
"I had been so unhappy, and I realised that I had just been... literally stuffing back those cigarettes in my mouth.
"I felt like I woke up suddenly," she added.
