"Itch Free" Pyjamas For a Good Night's Sleep!

by Medindia Content Team on Feb 5 2008 8:30 PM

Thanks to the 'itch-free' pyjamas!Your non stop scratching days in bed are over.

Inventors claim that apart from putting a stop to itching, the first-time pyjamas also regulate one's body temperature and ensure a good night's sleep.

The nightwear, which is created from a fabric called Dermasilk, can also help lessen the itching suffered by patients of skin disorders such as eczema and dermatitis.

The pyjamas have been developed for Travelodge, the hotel chain, which conducted a survey, to find out what kept people awake.

The survey of 3,000 adults found that 23 per cent suffer from itchy nightclothes, which stops them from getting a good night's sleep.

The survey also revealed that being too hot or cold also affected the sleep pattern, with 66 per cent confirming that their body temperature changes continuously throughout the night, thus disturbing their sleep.

The 'itch-free' pyjamas will be tested by customers at Travelodge hotels at Heathrow airport
