Forty six percent of Indian women respondents were happy to take the lead in planning a date, while the corresponding number for men was 62%.
TrulyMadly, the dating app conducted a nationwide research and has revealed the dating trend in India. Forty six percent of women respondents said that they are happy to take the lead in planning a date. Sachin Bhatia, CEO of TrulyMadly, said, “We are noticing that women are no more hesitant when it comes to online dating; they are rather initiating and leading the conversations with men they match up with.”
The preference for a person was also surveyed which showed that as gender roles are interchanging 53% women prefer to choose a fulfilling relationship over a career.
Forty eight percent women prefer a smart man than a muscular one and 52% men prefer success to good looks. Privacy was no longer a hinderance as 47% men and 48% women respondents said that they are open to sharing their Facebook password with their partner.
