Indian Man With 12 Fingers Unable to Find His Feet in the Job Market

Forty-eight-year-old Vijay from Agra in northern India is a proficient typist with a record of typing more than 100 words per minute. Despite this, he is a disgruntled man as he is unable to find work in his home country.

The reason is discrimination because he was born with 12 fingers and 12 toes. He suffers from a condition known as polydactyly.

Polydactyly, a genetic disorder, which results in the formation of extra fingers at birth, is a condition that secured Akshat Saxena a berth in the prestigious Guinness book of records.

He is of the opinion that offices in India 'want pretty women, not some guy who has 12 fingers' to work in their offices. So, his plans are to migrate to greener pastures to the UK in search of an employment.

He is indeed an expert typist but is left with no option but to leave his country because no one has given him a job.

Though he can type more than 100 words a minute with remarkable accuracy, he has not been able to land a job, despite applying for 50 jobs.
