Doctors at a New Delhi hospital have performed a complicated surgery on a Nigerian national who suffered damage to his genitalia following a serious accident over 12 years ago.
A laparoscopic and bariatric surgery team of Saket City Hospital led by Ashok Gupta successfully performed the rare and complex surgery on the 42-year-old Nigerian, Macwick.

"His condition was the rarest of rare. He had a serious accident 12 years ago, leading to severe injury to his genital parts and difficulty during urinating and passing feces. The severity of the problem affected him so much that he was unable to carry out his normal activities," Gupta said.

The Nigerian national was first operated upon in his country for artificial openings and two passages were made on his belly abdomen for passing stool and urine.
