If Teens are Happy They Grow Up to be Wealthy too
A new study has found out that teens that are happier and cheerful grow up to become wealthy. The study also says that glum teens might not earn that much.
Another study that was conducted on 15,000 teens showed that adolescents who were happy showed the likelihood of earning almost $2000 higher pay a year by the age of 29.

The same was seen in the case of siblings. The happier one among the two grows up to become very wealthy.

A research was conducted by Dr Jan-Emmanuel De Neve from University College London and Professor Andrew Oswald from the University of Warwick on a few American Teens. Both of them found out that people who are happier are more likely to get a degree, a job and also get promoted faster. On the other hand, gloomier people might not do so well in life.

"Perhaps most importantly . . . and (for) parents in particular, these findings show that the emotional well-being of children and adolescents is key to their future success, yet another reason to ensure we create emotionally healthy home environments," Dr De Neve said.

"The research says not to confuse happiness being the cause of later wealth, but rather that happiness is related to later wealth. There's a big difference," Dr Grant said.
