Huge Chunk of a Man’s Tongue Bitten Off After a Booze Party
A scuffle after a booze house party in November last year among five people in Western Australia led to quite a disaster after one of the guests found that a huge part of his tongue was bitten off.
The man, William Guthrie, is now facing a trial after it is alleged that he bit Daniel Robert Paul Kneebone’s tongue and caused life threatening injury.

During the court proceedings, Mr. Kneebone testified that he had no memory of the scuffle or what ensued but did remember leaving the house with his girlfriend. They were all so badly drunk and had fallen asleep.

Later when he woke up on the driveway he found his mouth was bleeding profusely and he had scrapes on his hands and knees. The injury could have led to his death, if he had not availed timely medical care.

Medical evidence regarding the bite will prove that Mr. Kneebone could not have bitten his tongue on his own. Many questions have been raised as to how and why Mr.Kneebone's tongue landed in the mouth of the accused.

The trial is still on and it will take a while to corroborate medical evidence and witness accounts before the verdict is announced.
