 Himalayan Viagra Selling for $800?
A large number of elderly men in New York are forking out more than $800 for a fungus covered dead body of a caterpillar known as Yarsagumba, which is being marketed as Himalayan Viagra.

Herbal pharmacy owners in the city claim that the product is selling very well and there is a problem with the supply due to large demand.

Yarsagumba can be taken with tea or sprinkled on breakfast and is expected to improve virility in a man. The product used to cost less than $7 for an ounce but the hype surrounding it has seen the price rocket to nearly a $1000.

Says Thomas Leung, owner of Kamwo, a Chinese herbal pharmacy, "It is hard to come by, and the demand for it is very high because of there's a lot of hype. People always ask, 'Is it really that good?' And I say, 'It's not $800 good'".
