Health Card For Senior Citizens Launched At MMI Narayana Hospital In Chhattisgarh
MMI Narayana Multispecialty Hospital in Chhattisgarh launched health card for senior citizens for availing free health check-up and consultation with a cardiologist every Saturday at the hospital.
Health minister Ajay Chandrakar released the card in the presence of hospital chairman Dr Devi Prasad Shetty and was handed over to Senior Citizens Association president GGK Murthy.

The health card is valid for one year and will be renewed thereafter. "Our aim is to reach out to more than one lakh senior citizens through this initiative," facility director Vineet Saini said. "The cards can also be collected by anyone above the age of 60 by showing their identity card for age proof at the hospital," he added. Hospital chairman Shetty said the card is key to better health management, especially among the elderly, as it helps prevent and manage chronic conditions, physical and social environments.
