Gwyneth Paltrow Opens Up About Postpartum Depression
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow has opened up about her battle with postpartum depression after she birth to her second child, Moses.
Speaking in the Good Housekeeping’s February issue, Paltrow said, “I felt like a zombie. I couldn’t access my heart. I couldn’t access my emotions. I couldn’t connect." She also added that it was completely different to the emotions she experienced when her first child, Apple, was born.

Rocker husband Chris Martin was a massive support for her during those bleak days, she added. “The hardest part for me was acknowledging the problem. I thought postpartum depression meant you were sobbing every single day and incapable of looking after a child."

Paltrow had first revealed her struggles in the GOOP newsletter in July last year. She said the main part was to identify the problem so that it can be effectively dealt with.
