Glenmark Generics has announced that it will be recalling seven lots of its birth control pills as they were packaged in wrong order. The company said that the recall of oral contraceptive Norgestimate and Ethinyl Estradiol tablets, was initiated after a customer complained that the order of the tablets in a blister pack was reversed. "The recall is being implemented because of a packaging error, where select blisters were rotated 180 degrees within the card, reversing the weekly tablet orientation and making the lot number and expiry date visible only on the outer pouch," Glenmark said
Users are encouraged to contact Glenmark Generics Inc., USA at 888-721-7115 in case of occurrence of any adverse events related to this product recall.
