A new study from the University of Cambridge has revealed that girls who have early periods are at risk of facing complications while giving birth later in life.
The study analyzed 3,739 first-time mothers, who had given birth in the 21 months between April of one year and the next December. The study revealed that girls who started their periods before the age of 12 needed interventions later in life during pregnancy as compared to girls who got their periods at a later age.
