A German Shepherd called Roscoe bred in Tahmoor, New South Wales, is not only trained to jump, bite or weave through people's legs on command but can also show some of his dance moves on the pole.
The intelligent two-year-old thrived as a pup in the care of police dog breeder Christine Anderson of Tahmoor, the Daily Telegraph reported.
Jen Martin, who has taught the energetic dog a few tricks over the past two years, said that the dog is a genius and learns anything.
He also said that the pole dance it was seen doing was nothing but an accident.
He explained that he was trying to teach it how to walk backwards when he saw the pole and put his paws up.
Spending at least 10 minutes day training has allowed Roscoe to develop some impressive skills, but Martin said that good breeding is where it all started.
