The event, a brainchild of noted fitness expert Baqar Nasser who runs spinning studio in Mumbai and other parts of the country, saw scores of participants from all walks of life.

Spinning, as propagated by Nasser, a former National-level-cyclist-turned-spinning-instructor is different from the usual gym workout and lets a person burn his calories in interesting and creative manner.

Actress Bipasha Basu, who had come to boost the morale of the participants said, "The people present out look like an energetic lot, they all are warming up and actually they are exciting me a bit. If I had come in track pants I would have also wanted to spin with them. And I'm really happy to be in this kind of environment because I love health and fitness."

Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh said, people should take care of their health and become more conscious about their fitness.

Nasser has been conducting the event for past four years in the city and now wants to take it to international level.

Fitness has caught on big time with young and old alike taking to various activities like dancing, gymming, swimming, to stay healthy and event like these only help in creating awareness about new and creative ways to fight the fat.
