First Woman in Kashmir to Give Birth to Quintuplets

A 28-year old woman in Budgam district became the first woman in Kashmir to give birth to quintuplets after doctors confirmed that she has given birth to three boys and two girls.

Afroza, who resides in Larkipora village in Budgam was initially thought to be a candidate for quadruplets after doctors found through ultrasonography that she was carrying four babies and were surprised when she gave birth to a fifth child.
