'I RUN', a 2km run organised by 100 For 100 Foundation, was held at GMC Balayogi Stadium at Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The foundation is a non-profit organisation founded by individuals from different walks of life.

The uniqueness of the event was that, Rs.2,000 was given away to all the participants who completed the 2km. Former minister and Congress legislator Ramreddy Venkat Reddy flagged off the event.

Shanta Dharawat, a 24-year-old said that though she wanted to take home all the money she earned, she decided to give back part of it as it may be used for a cause.

Another participant, Sruti Nanduri, 15-year-old college student said that she wanted to throw a party for friends.

P Srinivasa Reddy, Khammam Lok Sabha member presented the medals and certificates to the participants.

"I RUN, is neither a race nor a charity run. We just wanted to give the experience of joy of earning through physical activity and enjoy it. If the enjoyment comes through sharing with others they can do that," said, Shancal Gir, Foundation's Chief Coordinator. Of course there is a mission and it's to promote a healthy world and a healthier soul, she said.
