FDA Lifts Import Alert on Dr. Reddy's Mexican Facility

One of India's leading pharmaceutical companies, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories has announced that the US Food and Drug Administration has lifted an import alert on its Mexican facility, allowing the company to resume importing products into the United States.

The company revealed that the FDA had initially sent a Warning Letter after it had inspected its facility in Mexico back in November 2010.

Dr. Reddy's added that it worked with the health agency to resolve the problems raised in the letter and following another inspection in March 2012, the FDA declared itself satisfied.
