A device capable of completely destroying almost three different kinds of bacteria when they near its outer surface has received the approval of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Named as the SpectraShield 9500 N95 surgical respirator, this device works well against

Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, also called MRSA, Streptococcus pyogenes, and Haemophilus influenza type of bacteria.

This device offers more protection than regular facemasks and can block tiny particles which can be transmitted by sneezes, coughs, or during certain medical procedures.
