
In the days of Smartphone, smart people and smart everything, why not sport a smart tooth to keep tabs on what goes into your mouth?
In a laboratory at the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering at National Taiwan University in Taipei, scientists created a prototype of "Smart Tooth". During a trial session it was installed in a subject's mouth.
Designed to be about 1cm in length, "Smart Tooth," is a sensor that can be embedded in the artificial tooth and is capable of monitoring people's daily habits like smoking, chewing, drinking, coughing or overeating.
The smart tooth promises to be a good way to help people watch their lifestyle habits. Watch out, smart tooth is here to catch you with your daily eating habits.
