 Fake Doctor Arrested by Police
Enrolling into a matrimonial website proved to be costly for a Hyderabad resident after the local police arrested him for posing as a doctor with the help of forged educational documents.
K Raja Narasaiah living in Begumpet area worked as a duty doctor or as a nurse in some of the leading hospitals in the city including Apollo, KIMS and MNJ Cancer hospital by using forged educational certificates since he had studied only till intermediate.

However the police failed to catch him for five long years until he enrolled into the matrimony website, Bharat Matrimony even though he was married with two children. Narasaiah had enrolled himself as Dr Ragi Prasad on the website and attracted the interest of a prospective father in law who made a background check.

Growing suspicious over the education certificates, the prospective father in law, a Begumpet resident himself, registered a complaint with the Begumpet police who in turn contacted the Nampally police who had arrested Narasaiah for forging a check.

“Ironically, Narsaiah managed to work in these hospitals for five years without raising a doubt among the hospital managements,'' police said. Not content with the earnings he was getting as a qualified doctor, Narsaiah forged a check belonging to the MNJ Cancer hospital while he was working there”, Begumpet police inspector A Yadagiri said.
