Buying stuff at Prince Charles’ new store is set to be a costly affair for shoppers.

The Prince of Wales’ new organic store has shelves stocked with things like thyme and lemon jelly, recycled wine glasses but the price tags is what may have shoppers balking.

According to the Mirror, a bar of handmade soap at the shop will cost the buyer 5.95 pounds, while Highgrove Organic Apple Juice will set them back 3.95 pounds.

However, the British heir to the throne is confident that venture, will be a hit, said his spokeswoman Christine Prescott.

'The inspiration is that what we're selling is unique to Highgrove,' the paper quoted her, as saying.

Apart from organic vegetables and flowers from his country estate Highgrove, the store, near Tetbury, Gloucestershire will also sell books, toys and stationery.

The proceeds received from the sale of the products at the store will go to the prince’s charities.
