In Australia, getting a divorce is much easier than acquiring driver's licence, thanks to the Family Court in the country which has introduced "e-filing" for ending a marriage.
As per the new provision, divorce applicants can complete the administrative process online.
For availing the service, applicants register at familycourt.gov.au, upload a scanned copy of their marriage certificate and pay a 430-Australian dollar fee by credit card.
Users are then asked to print off an affidavit and have it sworn, before uploading it and arranging for the papers to be served.
